JAZZ musician Terry Lightfoot and his band pay tribute to the legendary Louis Armstrong at the Artrix on Friday, June 9 (7.30pm start).
Lightfoot has been one of the leading lights of British Jazz for the past over fifty years.
He was one of few British musicians to play alongside with Satchmo in 1956.
It was through the Jazz legend that Lightfoot shared the stage with Armstrong when he performed in the country in 1965.
Together with his band Lightfoot will pay tribute to Armstrong by performing some of his classic songs, such as Hello Dolly, Mame and Wonderful World.
Lightfoot has established themselves as an impeccable bandleader and musician over almost fifty years of professional recording and performing. Tickets for the show cost £16 and can be bought by calling the Artrix's box office on 01527 577330.
