A REDDITCH-based charity for people with mental illnesses is on the lookout for a new treasurer.
Tripod, which helps people across North Worcestershire, needs a volunteer treasurer -- a retired accountant or book-keeper who is willing to give up two hours of their time per week to help out.
The charity runs the Seven Cooks Diner Project, offering people with mental health difficulties the chance to take part in realistic employment and earn a small wage.
It also runs an Outdoor Pursuits Course at the Malvern Outdoor Education Centre.
Chairman Annie Haywood said Tripod was always looking for funding and fundraising ideas and was now keen to find a new treasurer.
She said: "Our treasurer has wanted to stand down for more than a year but because we do not have anyone waiting in the wings to take over he has felt compelled to carry on."
Anyone interested in helping out can call projects co-ordinator Annette Cummings on 488706 or email Tripod on Tripodorchard@aol.com
