SWIMMING: Droitwich Dolphins' A team finished fourth in the third round of the Nuneaton League Division Three over the weekend in Brierley Hill.

The team consolidated their mid-table league position after some impressive individual performances by the Dolphins.

Josh Deacon won the 12-year-old 50 metres backstroke and freestyle races, while George Morgan was victorious in the 11-year-old 50m backstroke and Robert Llewellyn won the ten-year-old 50m backstroke event.

The boys' 12-year-old relay team of Tom Hartwright, Ben Rimington, Josh Deacon and Elliott Hall-Annison continued this season's fine form by winning both the freestyle and medley relays. Daniel West finished runner-up in the 11-year-old 50m butterfly and freestyle events, while Alex Llewellyn came second in the 12-year-old 50m breaststroke.

Tamlyn Williams and Elliott Hall-Anniston finished second in their 12-year-old 50m butterfly races.

In the relays there were further second places for the 12-year-old freestyle girls' team containing Georgina Buck, Tamlyn Williams, Alex Llewellyn and Jessica Lloyd.

The 11-year-old boys' relay team of Jack Vaughan, Robert Llewellyn, Daniel West, George Morgan and Anthony Redfern secured further second places in their freestyle and medley relays.
