WITH the country in the grip of a scorching summer and Wimbledon fast approaching Bromsgrove Tennis Club is hoping to entice more adults into the sport with coaching sessions.
Newcomers into the sport will be shown the basics by a qualified coach during tennis and coffee sessions at Sanders Park between 9.45am and 11.45am on Friday mornings. Coach Richard Lawton is hoping the sessions will encourage more people to take up the sport.
He said: "The weather is lovely and there's nothing like playing tennis this time of year. It doesn't matter if you haven't played the sport because I'll be there to help."
