MATCHBOROUGH Pharmacy is offering residents the chance to find out more about diabetes.
The Matchborough Centre chemist is running a month of free advice sessions to coincide with Diabetes Awareness Week, which started last Monday.
Residents already diagnosed with diabetes can take advantage of a medicines use review -- a review to improve patients' knowledge and to ensure the effective use of their medicines.
The pharmacy will also be offering a diabetes screening service and handing out advice on the disease to customers.
Pharmacist Chris Stock said: "We are holding this month of events to make the public more aware of this disease."
