WE are in full agreement with Mr Rainbow (Letters, June 14). We, too had a very enjoyable evening at the Palace Theatre's Elgar Concert.
As we were standing outside during the interval, gazing at a derelict building site and envisioning an even uglier view -- the proposed Apollo store -- we thought how pleasant it would be to see flower gardens, grass and trees instead to complement the newlook theature.
Yes, why can't the store be housed in the empty Alders space? (as Mr Rainbow suggests)
How can we campaign for a much- needed green space for the people of Redditch to enjoy?
