WHEELCHAIR-bound Kieron Hoult has officially received his new trike from the Craig Evans Appeal.

Kieron, who has cerebral palsy, is the first person to benefit from the appeal set up in memory of Winyates man Craig Evans.

He received his trike from Craig's mum Chris Dyson.

The appeal, launched by the Advertiser, was set up to raise £10,000 for a new wheelchair for Craig but when he died suddenly it was decided to continue the fundraising work in his memory.

And now six-year-old Kieron is enjoying his new tricycle, which will dramatically improve his quality of life.

It will help the Lodge Park lad build up the muscles in his arms and legs.

A fun day is also being organised for Saturday, July 22 at Arrow Valley Park.
