A FUNDRAISER for Alve-church teenager Andy Perrygrove has been rescheduled for this Sunday.

Jane and Martin Adams, old school friends of Andy's parents, organised an Autograss racing event earlier this year but their efforts were scuppered by bad weather.

This weekend's meeting of Radford Autograss Club will act as a fundraiser for Andy's Fund - set up to help Andy, who suffered serious brain damage after a road accident in December 2004.

Mr and Mrs Adams, of Donnington Close, are both members of the club.

Autograss is a form of amateur motor racing where cars are raced on dirt oval tracks, laid out on natural surfaces like farmers' fields and events include ladies' races and junior races.

Mrs Adams said they hoped the event would attract people from all over the country, depending on what other races were on that day.

Anyone can attend and pay on the gate on the day. The race will be held at the club's track at Westoll Hall Farm in Radford, near Inkberrow, and will be signposted.
