COOKLEY WI -- A members' evening was held in June with Janet Murray as president and Mary Perks as secretary.
The speaker was Mrs Rosemary Prosser, who gave a talk on her life.
Gwen Palmer won the competition for best rose.
A plant swap and ploughman's lunch was held at the home of Mr and Mrs Round.
Members were taught the art of calligraphy.
The speaker for July will be Mrs Catherine Clark talking on "my life and hats".
