BOBBY Gillespie and Co have come up with a cracking ninth album.
The Scottish rockers have really upped their game with this masterpiece and it shows with almost every track.
A highly polished album with a blend of American country, deep south blues and the typical Primal Scream feel (southern-fried-blues-rock) so it's a really enjoyable listen with a familiar feel to it.
Most of the tracks are upbeat so it's great for a car ride or singing along to.
Country Girl is by far one of the best tracks on the album at a tempo that wakes and shakes you whilst still being reminiscent of some of their best punk rock work in previous years.
Nitty Gritty, Suicide Sally and Johnny Guitar are also great tracks whilst Little Death does bring the tone down to a steadier pace.
In all, great lyrics and a truly great album that will look and sound good in your CD collection.
