BROMSGROVE Rovers will be hoping to look as snazzy on the pitch as the club's new home and away kits, which were revealed at the Victoria Ground this week.

The traditional home shirt and brand new away shirt, both of which have the logo of new kit sponsors Prudden Tool Hire, have been provided by sports wear giants Errea, who also provide the kit for Premier League side Middlesbrough.

Manager Rod Brown, who is good friends with Errea owner Timmy Harris, said: "The new kits mean we will look the mean business next season.

"It's a great deal because the players will all have proper training gear."

Prudden Tool Hire is owned by Worcestershire business magnate Lee Prudden. His other companies sponsor Redditch United and Alvehcurch FC.

Both shirts will be on sale at the Rovers shop from Saturday, July 15, to coincide with the team's first pre-season friendly against Hednesford Town, and cost £34.99 each. It will be the first time a Rovers away shirt has been sold.

Rovers have also added two new pre-season dates this summer. The team entertain Bristol Rovers at home on Saturday, August 5 and go to Boreham Wood on Saturday, August 12.

The Rovers boss admitted he is on the trail of a another striker in time for the start of the 2006/2007 season.

Brown said: "I'm talking to someone with a lot of quality and experience and hopefully I'll sign him in the next few weeks."
