TOURING group Hijinx Theatre arrives at Alcester Grammar School on Saturday with its latest production.
The group will perform Seize the Day at the Birmingham Road School for one night only as part of its eight-week tour of Wales and England.
Set in the 1930s, the play features Mary, the new maid, who is struggling to learn the ropes in the house of Lord and Lady Webb. Written by Glenys Evans, Seize the Day featured Sarah Gordy -- an actress with Downs syndrome, as Mary. It promises to be a "beautiful and uplifting drama, challenging perceptions, and exploring themes of danger, duty, love and longing."
Tickets are available on 01789 768404, 01789 762494 or can be picked up from the school reception.
