GOLF: Redditch Golf Club's Ladies again flew the flag thanks to their resounding 5-0 win over Evesham in a friendly fixture at the Green Lane club.
The Men's team had a difficult week, losing 7-1 at Handsworth in the West Midland Scratch League and 3-1 at Bromsgrove in the West Midland League.
John Geary steered his Auto Electrics team to victory in the Captain's Charity Day event with an excellent 90 Stableford Points.
More than 50 teams of four competed in the competition and more than £8,500 was raised for the British Heart Foundation.
