KIDDERMINSTER Victoria will make two enforced changes when they welcome early-season title favourites West Bromwich Dartmouth to Chester Road on Saturday.

Andrew Siwicki has jetted off to Germany to watch England in the World Cup, while Will Gifford has playing commitments for his Loughborough University team.

That means a recall for middle order batsmen Sean Lloyd and Craig Wood who return from confidence boosting, run-scoring spells with the seconds.

Head coach Ross Edwards challenged the duo to retain their first team places.

"With Andy and Will unavailable, Sean and Craig have got opportunities," he said. "It's all about the guys in possession and if the two coming in can score runs it will be hard for us to drop them."

Edwards believes the visit of the league leaders will be another major test for a KVCC side hoping to consolidate in the top flight.

But Edwards insisted: "They're flying at the moment and they are the favourites to win the championship. We are aware of that but we're also aware of our own ability.

"We've had chances to win games in previous weeks and we haven't been able to take them. It's all about us using our experience to close games out."

Gifford takes on KVCC team-mate Josh Knappett on Saturday when his Loughborough University side meet Oxford University.

The duo should both be available for KVCC's home game against Coventry and North Warwickshire on Saturday, July 1.
