SIR - One hundred and thirteen British service personnel have died in Iraq since New Labour (with enthusiastic Conservative support!), took us into an open-ended war in 2003.
Jack Kinsman (Worcester News, June 6), is ashamed that our Prime Minister, his Deputy (and other Westminster senior politicians) insult our war dead by never appearing at any Brize Norton ceremony. Maybe like you Jack - but for different reasons - they are also ashamed?
FRANK L JONES,
Malvern.
