YOUNGSTERS at Hartlebury First School have been learning the importance of education as part of a national campaign.
The pupils made paper puppets of teachers, with messages on the back to Prime Minister, Tony Blair, as part of Oxfam's Make Poverty History Campaign.
The aim is to give children in poorer parts of the world the chance to receive a better standard of education. It has been supported by Mid-Worcestershire MP, Peter Luff, who visited the children before the puppets were sent to Downing Street earlier this month.
Headteacher, Jenny Batelen, said: "It has given the pupils an appreciation of their school and of their teachers."
