THIS year's Evesham and District Angling Association Junior and Intermediate Championships will take place on the Avon on Saturday, August 19.
The event, sponsored by Shakespeare and Match Fishing, is a four-hour individual contest for juniors and a five-hour match for intermediate competitors.
The winners will receive cups and qualify for the Shakes-peare Wychavon Festival on Sunday, August 27.
There will be quality tackle prizes for the top trio of anglers in both the junior and intermediate sections and tackle prizes for all section winners on the day together with a goody bag for all competitors at registration.
The registration fee for juniors (15 and under on August 19) and intermediates (20 and under) is £5 and £10 respectively. There will be a reserve lost when the maximum number of entries has been received.
