ROY Evans took the honours in the Sunday Open at Furnace Mill Fishery with a catch of 71lb 8oz.
Evans also shared the silver prize with Andy Buckley as they both landed 4lb exactly.
Dave Williams is in fine form at the moment and has been in the top three for the last few weeks.
Lots of fish are feeding up in the water but the larger weights are being caught at six to eight metres dead depth with regular feeding to get the fish competing.
Margins are well worth a go later on in the afternoon or evening.
