THREE mixed rinks faced each other at Evesham and Littleton when the two clubs squared up in the Willersey Provisions Cup last Wednesday.

Evesham won by 23 shots on their home green, while the scores were tied in the reverse fixture when again Evesham won on two of the three rinks.

Peter Bryan's rink won by 21 shots at Avon Street, while Colin Grinnell's rink picked up half-a-dozen shots on the 20th end to claim a three-shot success.

Mike Emms was Littleton's solitary winner in the entire match with one of the rinks at Evesham ending all-square.

The two clubs locked horns again last Saturday in the Con-corde League when Evesham's men recorded a 108-100 triumph but the host club's ladies were on the wrong end of an 80-55 defeat.

Emms was handed a taste of his own medicine in the men's match when his Four were thumped 27-8 by Gary Hunt's side.
