SIX days after steering Bretforton to a Worc-estershire Clubs League win at Feckenham, Daryl Mitchell smashed 167 to lead Halesowen to Birmingham League success.
The Badsey-born Worce-stershire all-rounder has been left out in the cold since the arrival at New Road of Aust-ralian Phil Jaques but he has certainly lost none of early season form.
Mitchell hit an unbeaten 46 in a rare appearance for Bret-forton on June 11 before lining up with his contracted weekend side at home to Sutton Coldfield last Saturday.
Mitchell opened up and helped second in the table Halesowen amass a daunting 295-3 declared.
Not content with impressing with the bat, Mitchell then picked up two catches in the middle of Sutton's reply before claiming the last two wickets at a cost of three runs in a three-over spell with the ball as the chasers were shot out for 156.
