THE sixth Prudden Road Surfacing Charity Cup Final will take place on Saturday from 10.30am the NFU Sports & Social Club courts near Stratford-on-Avon.

It will be an all-Stratford affair with the winners of the Winter League, Stratford A, playing their B team, winners of the PRS Summer League.

The handsome trophy, supplied by Prudden Road Surfacing, will be presented along with a cheque for £250 to a charity nominated by the winning team.

The Winter League will supply all finalists with commemorative medals, while the PRS League will also donate £100 to a charity nominated by the losers.

Warwickshire LTA secretary, Tony Eskew, will present the cup to the winning side and medals to both teams.

The Charity Cup is an annual event played at different venues each year and it is planned to approach new sponsors in future to donate money to deserving charities.
