THE third round of matches in the Prudden Road Surfacing Junior Cup resulted in clear leaders emerging from all four groups.

Pool A, played at Snit-terfield, saw unbeaten Bidford given closer matches. Brothers George and Harry Naylor opened with a good 6-1 victory over the hosts before going on to defeat Stra-tford A 6-3 and Stratford B 6-4.

In Pool B at Claverdon, Studley regained top spot from Henley by winning all three of their matches.

Shipston A dominated Pool C as their pairing of Ben Lane and Nick Taylor whitewashed all their rivals.

Hosts Ilmington fared better when George Woodall and Nick Robertson defeated Chipping Campden 6-3 and Shipston B 6-3. The remaining fixture ended with Ship-ston's Charlie Taylor and Sam Dexter defeating Chip-ping Campden's Toby Robi-nson and Jonathan Musg- rove.

Pool D was played at Inkb-errow where Alcester topped the group in tremendous fashion.

Michael and Arthur Bennett swept all before them as they disposed of Inkberrow's A and B teams 6-0 and Per-shore 6-1.
