AN elderly man involved in a collision with a car following a fall from his disability scooter is on his way to recovery.
A police spokeswoman said the man, who toppled over in his three-wheeled scooter while crossing a road in Kidderminster, had received superficial head injuries but his condition was much improved.
The scooter rider, in his 80s, had crossed the A451 Stourport Road at the junction with Sutton Park Road on his scooter on Tuesday, June 13.
It appeared the machine then toppled over and the man fell into the road, where he was in collision with a blue Ford Mondeo.
He was taken to Selly Oak Hospital suffering with head injuries.
