BEWDLEY will be in full bloom next month when green-fingered residents compete in an annual competition.
Eager gardeners have until Friday, July 7 to enter this year's Bewdley in Bloom contest, which will be judged on Friday and Saturday, July 14 and 15.
There are more than 20 different categories, for hanging baskets, tubs and vases, large and small gardens, clubs, societies and public displays.
Schools can also take part this year.
Organisers are hoping for a good response and are appealing especially for people with vegetable gardens to show off their hard work.
Event secretary, Hugh Morgan, said the contest was good for community spirit, adding: "It brightens up the town. When people do up their front gardens, people walking past get something nice to look at and it makes them feel better."
Entry forms are available from RG Timmis Ltd, Dillons and the Tourist Information Centre in Load Street, as well as Bewdley Library, Riverside Stores and St Anne's Church.
