I absolutely agree with Mr Peck that pupils are exhibiting more challenging behaviour.

My child is in year 7 and he has been bullied and teased on numerous occasions throughout the year.

It does not matter how many exclusions Mr Peck makes, I would rather see a high exclusion rate than a high bullying rate. My son should be able to learn without being disrupted by disrespectful pupils, who obviously do not want to learn and make something of their lives.

Children of this generation have no respect for their elders. I attended The Chase under Mr Fawbert, children of my generation were not angels, but never thought of doing the things children do today.

I applaud Mr Peck on his knuckling down on children's behaviour in school. Can anyone tell me the exclusion rate when the cane and ruler were punishment in schools?

As a parent, I try to do the best for my children, education is at home too. What has happened to rules and boundaries in the home? If home life is disruptive, what chance does a child have at school?
