Worcester City will pocket a £75,000 TV windfall if they conquer Chippenham Town in five days time.

BBC chiefs have confirmed screening live action of the FA Cup clash involving Huddersfield Town, who travel to City or Chippenham on Sunday, Dec-ember 4 for a 1.05pm kick-off.

On Friday, December 2, Sky Sports will show the tie between League Two strugglers Mansfield and Conference leaders Grays Athletic.

All four clubs screened live receive a £75,000 bonus.

Worcester have already pocketed £18,750 in FA Cup prize money, several thousands more in gate receipts, and will pick up £16,000 by overcoming Chippenham in next Monday's first round replay at St George's Lane.

Additional television money would take their generated cup income into six figures, a huge boost for a club saddled with debts of around £750,000.

"It's unbelievable," admits City chairman Dave Boddy. "It would be the first time we've ever been live on television. There are several Football League clubs that still haven't been.

"When I watched the second round draw, I thought it was a great tie to be televised because Huddersfield are a big club and they are doing well this season.

"It's great for Worcester City. Obviously, we must beat Chippenham, but it would really put the club on the map, to be live on BBC.

"I watched Chasetown on Sunday afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed their big occasion with the rest of the nation. It would be nice to happen to us.

"With so much at stake, we know there is plenty of pressure to get through. But it will the same for Chippenham."

Tickets are being sold in advance for the replay against Chippenham, terrace prices at £9 adults and £5 concessions, stand prices at £10 adults and £6 concessions.

Season ticket holders, Georgie and Blue Dragon members, Supporters Club/Supporters Trust members and Supergold agents are given first priority over tickets.

They can be purchased tomorrow, from 10.30am to 4.30pm at the club office and 8pm to 9.30pm at the social club and on Friday, from 10.30am to 4.30pm and 7.30pm to 10.30pm. Before Saturday, there is a limit of two stand tickets per purchase.

Tickets will be made available to the general public before Saturday's home Nationwide North tie against Hednesford Town.

Every paying customer to the Hednesford fixture receives a voucher entitling the holder to purchase one ticket for the potential FA Cup second round tie against Huddersfield.
