ANDY Preece is set to field a host of first team regulars for Worcester City Reserves' Worcestershire FA Senior Urn final with Lye Town at Kidderminster Harriers' Aggborough stadium tonight (7.30).
Having already featured in the Worcestershire Senior Cup, the majority of City's regular reserve players are cup-tied, so Preece has the dilemma of fielding youth team players or first teamers.
He said: "It's most of the younger lads that are ineligible and the experienced lads that can play, so it's going to be a pretty strong team that we put out. It's one or the other, so what do we do?
"We are not trying to embarrass any side and we know how tough those games can be anyway. We may end up having to play a side like Lye Town in the FA Cup.
"There's never any 'gimmees' in cup competitions and it won't be easy tonight.
"It's a difficult one for us. If we put out our first-years, they may get destroyed and if we put out our first team, people will say we will destroy Lye."
On their way to tonight's final, Worcester Reserves beat Alvechurch 6-2 in their first match and then in the semi-final they beat Feckenham 2-1.
Admission to the final is £3 and concessions £2.
