STUART Watkiss is pursuing a four-point haul over the Bank Holiday period after failing to pick up a win at Scarborough last weekend.

The Kidderminster Harriers boss wants at least one victory from either tomorrow's home game with Southport or Monday's trip to Cambridge United.

Fans will have fond memories of Southport's last visit to Aggborough in 1999 when Harriers hammered them 5-0 on the way to winning the Nationwide Conference title.

But, now back in the Conference, Harriers have not had everything their own way with a 1-0 defeat at Exeter and a late equaliser denying them in the 1-1 draw at Scarborough.

And striker Iyseden Christie -- their big goal hope this season -- has been hit by another problem with the foot he broke more than a year ago.

However, Watkiss believes Christie may play some part in the Bank Holiday double header.

He said: "He's had an infection in the bad foot, in and around where he had the plate fitted, but it looks like it's responding to antibiotics."

Winger Michael Blackwood will be missing tomorrow with his hamstring problem but centre-halves Mark Jackson and Daryl Burgess (both foot) have been cleared to play.

Summer signing Terry Fleming should also figure after his young son was discharged from hospital following a serious illness which meant the midfielder missed last Saturday.

Last season's Nationwide North champions Southport struggled initially at the higher level, losing 3-1 at Dagenham and then collapsing 4-1 at home to York.

But two Neil Robinson strikes and a Carl Baker penalty ensured they beat one of the fancied sides, Stevenage Borough, 3-2 in their last game.

They have kept faith with most of the title-winning side but did add ex-Hereford full-back Chris Lane and Harrogate midfielder Dominic Krief.
