THE Kidderminster Harriers old boy brigade will be diminished when Forest Green Rovers visit Aggborough on Saturday.

Gary Owers' side added Ian Foster and Abdou Sall to their ex-Harrier collection in the summer, joining Matt Gadsby, Jon Beswetherick, goalkeeper Ryan Clarke and former trialist Mark Danks.

But the start of the season has been a major disappointment for Gadsby, Sall and especially popular striker Foster due to various reasons.

Foster, who helped Harriers to promotion from the Conference in 2000 and was joint top scorer during their relegation last season, is definitely out.

He needed clean-out surgery on both knees, while the versatile Gadsby has a hairline fracture of the toe and will also miss his return to Kidderminster.

However, giant centre-half Sall is available again after his red card in the first game of the season and was on the bench for Forest Green's 2-1 defeat to York City last weekend.

Left-sided Beswetherick, who had a short spell with Harriers last season, has been more of a regular feature so far.

In the Harriers camp, boss Stuart Watkiss should welcome back loan signing Simon Heslop (ankle) and winger Michael Blackwood (hamstring).

Midfielders Terry Fleming and Martin O'Connor have a slight hamstring strain and sore knee respectively. Their fitness was being assessed today.
