STUART Watkiss will ring the changes tomorrow in a bid to banish Kidderminster Harriers' home blues with a souped-up display.

A second defeat in four days to bottom-of-the-table opposition would not go down at all well with the Harriers faithful, who are still reeling from last season's relegation.

Watkiss hoped last Saturday's 2-1 win at Gravesend & Northfleet would help put bad home defeats to Forest Green Rovers and Halifax Town behind them.

But Tuesday's 2-0 reverse to basement boys Crawley Town could become worse if Harriers do not bounce back against the latest side propping up the Conference, Tamworth.

Mark Cooper's off-colour outfit have not won since the first day of the season when they triumphed 2-0 at Aldershot.

Watkiss insisted: "We just want to get back on track and Saturday represents a good chance of that.

"There will be changes in personnel and I'm going to shake it up. I had made my mind up to do that before Tuesday's game anyway.

"We will definitely be going out to win. Hopefully, the fans will come to support the team but we know that we have to give them something to get excited about.

"We actually passed the ball better than we had done for a bit at Crawley but there was no penetration.

"We are not playing at a high enough tempo and that is something we've got to address.

"What has upset most people is the manner of those two home defeats. But nobody feels it more than me. It's frustrating because I know what we are capable of."

With Watkiss opting to keep his team changes and a potential formation switch under wraps, he is clearly taking no chances against struggling Tamworth.

The return of several Kidderminster old boys is set to stir up the afternoon with left-back Scott Stamps and midfielder Graham Ward back in town.

But versatile former Harriers favourite Adie Smith (ankle) is a doubt and the out-of-favour Hugh McAuley (Achilles) will be missing at Aggborough.

While Harriers were beaten at Crawley in a dull game of few chances, Tamworth produced an improved display only to slump 3-0 at home to high-flying York City for their 10th game without a win.

Watkiss added: "Although we believe Tamworth were poor against Woking on Saturday, they were better on Tuesday and apparently it was a really unfair scoreline.

"Their manager Mark Cooper is someone who I have a great deal of time for. He's done a great job there and I know they will be very organised, prepared and competitive."

For Harriers, midfielder Wayne Graves should be available after playing in a 1-0 friendly victory over Cheltenham Town on Wednesday when Taiwo Atieno scored the winner.

Graves -- expected to stamp his authority on the team -- had a sore knee and a virus.
