JOHNNY Mullins, Harriers' match-winner against Woking on Saturday, has extended his loan spell at Aggborough until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old defender, who is contracted to Championship leaders Reading, also spent most of last season at Kidderminster, during which time he scored twice in 21 starts.

Mullins has made himself a regular fixture in the Harriers' back line and is hoping to drive the team onwards and upwards this season.

He said: "Staying here for the rest of the season gives me the chance to play more football as well as the opportunity to try and do what I set out to do when I came back.

"That is helping Kidderminster get back into the Football League or certainly to a higher league position in the Conference.

"I'll be playing here until my contract with Reading runs out, so effectively I'm playing for a new contract there.

"But, I'm playing my football for Kidderminster and I'm happy doing so and, personally, I'm very settled here too."
