HARRIERS boss Mark Yates has received a double boost for his side's final away game of the Nationwide Conference season at Dagenham and Redbridge with the return from suspension of Michael Blackwood and Johnny Mullins.

The duo were both sent off for foul and abusive language -- Mullins in the tunnel after the final whistle -- in the impressive 2-2 draw at York last month, but both will be available after completing two-game bans.

Following the match at Kit Kat Crescent, Yates was quick to condemn his players for getting themselves dismissed so needlessly, but the pair are set to return to the squad for tomorrow's trip to the Glyn Hopkin Stadium.

He said: "There is no excuse for getting sent off for foul and abusive language, but they have served their bans now and will both be in the squad for the trip to Essex.

"I haven't turned my attention to what we are going to do in the close-season yet. We still have two games left to play this season and I am concentrating on trying to get six points, starting with three when we play Dagenham. They are a strong and organised team but we have to go there, impose ourselves on the game and make sure we get something out of it.

"We will cross the end-of-season bridge when we get to it, but at the moment we are fully focused on the two games we still have left to play."

Striker Lee Thompson was struggling after being kicked on the calf in Harriers 1-0 win over Cambridge on Easter Monday.

But Thompson has recovered and is fit enough to compete for a place in the side that will take on the Daggers.

Yates has also quashed fears that a hamstring strain would keep wide midfielder Simon Russell on the sidelines for the remaining two games of the season.

He said: "Simon was struggling with his hamstring after two games in two days over Easter, but he has been back in training this week and will be in the squad to take on Dagenham."

The Daggers are currently 11th in the Conference, four points ahead of 16th-placed Harriers with a game in hand.

Kidderminster round off their disappointing season next Saturday when newly crowned league champions Accrington Stanley visit Aggborough.

Meanwhile, Harriers' high-flying under 18s have had a successful week in the Midland Floodlit Youth League Premier Division.

They shocked leaders Sutton Coldfield 4-0 away from home and then pipped Coleshill 2-1 during mid-week clashes.
