EASTNOR I v BROCKHAMPTON I
HAVING sent their opponents in, Eastnor made a great start with Shahid clean-bowling three batsmen with just ten runs on the board.
J Apperley and A Rauf set to work rebuilding the innings, reaching 91 before Apperley departed for 36.
N Price followed for a duck but a string of catches were going down and Rauf benefited, reaching 93 before falling LBW to Jabran, who had earlier dropped him.
A Watkins' 36 and J Walker's 17 helped Brockhampton to 228-9 off their 50 overs.
It left Eastnor with a lot of work to do and two wickets then fell for only four runs, Jabran third ball and Adeel to Parker.
Atiq looked in fine form until hit by a short ball, retiring on 32 to go to hospital for an X-ray on his arm.
Faisal (24), along with runs from C Ferreira (17) and T Hurrell (10), helped rebuild the score to 111-8.
A late partnership from J Sandford (36) and S Emery (16no) saw Eastnor finish on 176 all-out.
