DROITWICH Spa CC continued their winning run in the Worcestershire County League Division One with an 83 run thrashing of Bewdley on Saturday.
Half centuries for Richard Ferley (53) and captain Paul Bryan (55 not out) guided Spa to 178-8 in 50 overs.
Gareth Thomas (3-19) and Michael Rogers (3-31) were the main wicket taking threats, as Spa dismissed Bewdley for 95 runs. Matt Boden was Bewdley's top scorer with the Willow, hitting 25, before Thomas had him caught by Andy Van Vuuren.
Droitwich take on Astwood Bank at St Peter's Field this Saturday (July 1, 1.30pm start).
Spa, who are fourth in the table,will be aiming to enhance their top two claims even further with a victory.
