EIGHTEEN members of Evesham Wheelers set of into the hills of the Cots-wolds last Sunday via Sedgeberrow and Winch-combe and into Guiting Power and Bourton-on-the Water to finish at Lower Swell for coffee.
The return route was along the top road to Snowshill, Broadway and Willersey arriving home after covering a hard 50 miles.
Kurt Green has shown his colours over the past few months on the road racing scene and is now just five points short of attaining his 2nd cat licence.
His best effort was to finish first in the Wolverhampton Wheelers Criterion and he has also secured a third and fourth and a couple of sixth place finishes at other events.
Next week's run for club members is to Chipping Norton or Hailes Abbey starting at 9am outside Argos. It will be open to all-comers at any level.
