EXPERIENCE or enthusiasm! That's the conundrum facing Dave Busst should John Williams shake off a hamstring strain, writes Mervyn Collins.

United head for Halesowen on Sat-urday seeking to extend a four-match unbeaten sequence but also hoping for a first win for four games after three successive away day draws.

Williams was replaced by Shane Benjamin at Mangotsfield just before half-time and the former Studley man made a big impression.

"Shane showed some nice touches and gave us a bit of quality," Busst declared. "Ideally I would like to bed him in slowly but I will wait to see how Willo is at training and then make a decision."

The Common Road chief was also happy with the debut of Steve Luckett - a player he has known for seven years.

The 19-year-old was coached by the United boss as a junior before earning a three-year stint at Birmingham City that ended prematurely after a long- term injury problem.

Luckett has played around 20 games with Warwick University in a bid to play again at a higher level and Busst is hoping the former Solihull man can make it.

Whether Luckett starts at The Grove on Saturday is another poser for Busst.

"Knighty knows that I have been on the lookout for another central defender and Steve fits that bill," the manager explained.

Both Lee Knight and Steve Duncan will miss the rest of Evesham's Febr-uary schedule when they start suspensions after the Gloucester game but Leon Blake is available again.
