THREE Nunnery Wood High School teams qualified for the English Schools Track and Field Cup Midlands 'B' final at Cannock.

The most successful team on the day was the girls' juniors who finished third out of eight schools.

Becky Pawley and Ellie Bradley finished first and second respectively in the 800 metres and the relay team won their race.

The school continues to go from strength to strength with athletics.

Year 11 pupil Anais Finck qualified to run the 300m for Herefordshire and Worcestershire in the ESAA Sainsbury's Track and Field Championships.

Junior girls: Rosie Drewett, Jasmine Jones, Emily Jones, Jess Hassell, Jess Rushall, Ellie Bradley, Claire Green, Chloe Bryant, Tileesha Steer, Becky Pawley, Beth Mrvic and Hannah Stirling.
