BROMSGROVE'S miserable start to the season continued on Saturday when they were comfortably beaten by Market Bosworth - their eighth consecutive loss.
The main reason for the defeat was that the Boars' re-shuffled pack struggled to compete with the home side's forwards and, therefore, found it very difficult to get any ball out to the backs.
On the few occasions when the visitors managed to get the ball along the line, Richard Stockholm proved to be one of the few highlights for new director of coaching Ian Hall's men.
Unconverted
The outside centre crossed over for both of the Boars' tries, which went unconverted. This was yet another problem, as - alongside the two conversions - four relatively straightforward penalties went begging.
Bromsgrove's start to the season also looks set to get worse before it gets better as they face a reorganised game against Bedford Athletic on Saturday. Bedford currently lie second in the table and boast a squad that contains several former professional players. The trip to Bedford will then be followed up by a visit from Dunstablians, who are presently eighth.
