BROMSGROVE RFC will be hoping for an upturn in fortunes in the league when they take on Kettering at home on Saturday, January 21 (2.15pm start).

Director of coaching Iain Hall is confident as his side goes into a crucial Midlands Division One game in good form.

Bromsgrove are currently pointless at the bottom of the table, eight points behind fourth from bottom Kettering.

Hall said: "I feel the team is coming together. The team is getting strong and we are improving in all areas.

"This is a game that I am very hopeful that we can win.

"Kettering are quite a few points ahead of us but I am sure we can get something from this."

Despite losing to Whitchurch in the North Midlands Cup on Saturday Hall feels that the performance warranted more.

He said: "It was a game we should have won. If we had put our kicks away and cut out the mistakes we would have won it.

"To be fair though it was a good performance, every department played their part."

Bromsgrove is set to have a full strength team available for the match, with Ben Copson and Ali Hall both available.
