PEOPLE who attend Redditch Swimming Baths should leave their money and any valuables with the attendant, Redditch councillors were told on Monday after a member complained that someone had been robbed there.
The surveyor, Mr E Buchley, said: "Its nothing unusual."
Councillor T J Hudson said that on a recent evening a total of 17s was taken from someone's pocket.
He said he wondered whether there was anything the council could do about it.
He asked whether they could supply a padlocked locker or afford some measure of protection for the people who used the baths.
The surveyor said that provision was made for people to leave their money and valuables at the office.
