ANGLING: Dave Curtis won a close fought contest on Saturday when Astwood Bank's Dark Lane Club fished their third Aggregate Courage Shield on the Arrow.
His 15lb 4oz catch edged out Rob Stokes (15lb 2oz) with Jamie Aspindale continuing his good form with 13lb 8oz for third. Section winners were Ron Davies, Pete Aspindale (Jnr) and Bob Stokes.
The juniors of Lodge Park Angling Association held their second match of the season at Lodge Pool.
Chris Hensey led the way with 9lb 6ozs ahead of Dan Adams (9lb 2ozs) and Greg Bonner (6lb 10ozs).
Prizes were donated by TackleFix Direct in Redditch.
