MIDFIELDER Wayne Dyer ended any fears of him leaving the club after signing a two-year deal with Bromsgrove Rovers on Wednesday night.

Dyer had been a transfer target for AFC Telford and Redditch United after a series of sparkling displays for Rovers this season.

It was feared the 27-year-old Monterrat international, who joined from Hinckley United in the summer, would leave for a bigger club.

Rovers chairman Tom Herbert was delighted that Dyer had dedicated himself to Rovers.

He said: "Wayne's agreement with us shows how committed we all are to keeping our best players."
