A LUCKY trio from Kidderminster's diabetes team had the honour of attending a Buckingham Palace garden party this week.
The three members are based at Kidderminster Hospital.
Specialist nurse Dawn Edwards said: "We want to thank Diabetes UK for putting us forward. It really is a team effort between the Acute Trust, Primary Care and the local support group of Diabetes UK and we remain committed to continuing the hard work ahead."
Fred Holland, of Diabetes UK, who attended last year's ceremony, said: "I'm delighted for the team. This celebration goes some way to recognising the excellent services that local people with diabetes receive in Wyre Forest.
"It was thanks to their dedication that they were put forward to attend the party."
