WORCESTER'S evergreen prop Tony Windo has capped an excellent season by being named in the Sky Dream Team.

The 37-year-old was picked by Sky Sports pundits Stuart Barnes and Dewi Morris because of his role in Warriors' Premiership campaign.

As well as being a regular starter at loose-head, Windo has captained the side on several occasions and led them to famous victories against Leicester and Wasps.

"It's thoroughly deserved," said Worcester director of rugby John Brain. "What it shows is he's got the respect of people that know and write about the game.

"He has been a very, very consistent player for us -- a guy who has performed week in, week out. That's the reason he's in that team with some very good players."

The former Gloucester player has been at Sixways since July 1999 and recently signed a one-year contract extension.

"I am delighted to be named in the 2005/2006 Sky Dream Team," said Windo. "Rather than an individual achievement though, I see it more as a reflection of the club's performances throughout the season.

"It is good to see that Worcester have been recognised as we have got top-class coaches and a great squad of players."
