Richard O’Brien’s Rocky Horror Show never fails to live up to expectation – it is one of the most outrageous and sexy musicals I have seen with a huge following, many of them dressed in basques, fishnets, suspenders, heels and that is just the men. It was almost as much fun waiting and watching for tonight’s audience to arrive in their outfits as it was to see this hilarious and funny show.
This is one of those shows that everyone should see at least once in their lifetime – no preconceived ideas, go with the flow, don’t be embarrassed, enjoy it for what it is – a fabulous night out.
David Badella is a sublime Frank ‘N’ Furter, his rich silky smooth voice and amazing stage presence have you ‘hooked’.
Rocky Horror wouldn’t be what it is without audience participation – Narrator; Michael Starke (15 years in Brookside and most recently Jerry Morton in Coronation Street) managed them to perfection.
Tickets are still available for this incredible show, if you don’t want to stand out from the crowd go in your hottest, sexiest outfit.
The show runs at the Bristol Hippodrome until Saturday, 10th July.
