THE Johnny Cash Roadshow rides back into town later this month.
The respected tribute band, fronted by Worcestershire singer songrwriter Clive John, will perform at Malvern Theatres on Saturday, July 17.
John as the Man in Black will be joined by Nick Davis on guitar, Alan Parker on double bass and Jim E Williams on drums to put on an energetic celebration of one America’s greatest music performers.
The show features material from throughout Cash’s career including Walk the Line and Folsom Prison Blues recorded with Sun Records in the 1950s and Hurt, Cash’s last release in 2002.
Special guest Jill Schoonjans will duet with John as June Carter.
Money raised from the event and sales of the single Make the Most of Every Day will go to Acorns Children’s Hospice.
