PEOPLE will be able to hear from the lawyers who decide whether to take people to court.

David Elliot a district prosecutor for the Crown Prosecution Service is speaking about the key role it plays in bringing criminals to justice.

He will he talking at the Pershore PACT (Partners and Communities and Together) meeting at the town hall tonight.

“If any member of the public has ever wondered how decisions are reached in dealing with offenders they should attend and hear what Mr Elliott has to say,” said PC John Hunter.

Starting at the 7.30pm, the meeting will also see updates on concerns raised by residents on disabled bays in High Street, the 30mph speed limit at the B4084 Pensham turning being extended and improving safety at the Church Row and Broad Street junction.
