FOR the past week, alongside Worcester City Council, we have been running a campaign to tackle the litter louts and get the city cleaned up.

Now we're giving you the chance to show us the areas of your neighbourhood that you're unhappy about - and get them sorted out!

Since last Monday we've been asking you to report problem areas to the council on 01905 722 101, and it is promised that order will be restored within two working days.

The authority has already fielded a number of calls and taken action as a result, but now we're asking you to send us your own pictures of grot spots, taken before you make your report.

Once the council tells us that things have been cleaned up we'll be able to compare the before and after pictures to see how much of a difference has been made.

To send us your pictures all you need to do is join the Flickr image hosting site and add your snaps to our special section.

Registration is free and easy, and having an account means you'll be able to send us other pictures once we organise a few more sections (it's still in its infancy).

To register click here and follow the instructions after signing up for a Yahoo! ID account.

Once you have an account you can add your grot spot pictures to the Worcester News' group here.
