SOME of the biggest and best known names on the celebrity circuit have been talking about Malvern’s very own singing sensation Cher Lloyd.

X Factor finalist Cher – who just a few months ago was taking her AS-levels at Dyson Perrins CE Sports College – has barely been out of the national press since she first appeared on the ITV1 show in August.

And now celebrities from around the world are talking about the 17-year-old – including megastar Robbie Williams.

Take That and solo singer Williams told a magazine Cher had “obviously got it” but said he was worried she was going to have a difficult time coping with her new-found fame. “I want to give her a call but I don’t know if I can help,” he said.

Meanwhile band N-Dubz are backing Cher to win the entire competition.

Band member Dappy, who revealed in an interview he is a huge fan of the teenager, said: “We’re absolutely loving the X Factor this year and one girl in particular – Cher Lloyd. That girl is seriously gangster and has some sick swagger.

“I read in a magazine she compares herself to a female version of me and I take that as a massive compliment.

“She’s crazy and spontaneous, so she’s definitely like me. Team N-Dubz is right behind her to win.”

Over the pond, Cher is hot news too. Gossip blogger Perez Hilton has been charting Cher’s rise to fame as well, most recently saying he liked her tattoos – one of which is a lyric from American artist Alicia Key’s Empire State of Mind – but said that he hoped she didn’t go “overboard”.
