MORE of the city’s top acts are taking to the stage this evening in the popular Worcester’s Got Talent competition.

The show, run by Sin Bar in New Street in association with your Worcester News, has already seen some great acts take to the stage.

Organiser and bar manager Paul Todd said tonight’s round would be a good evening of entertainment, with 11 acts getting ready for the performance of their lives.

“It’s going to be a great show,” he said. “We have got lots of acts lined up to perform and we are expecting a lot of talent on stage. It is a great show to watch.”

There will also be a special guest performing on the evening, circus performer Gems Goddard.

“She is very good and is a highly rated circus performer,” said Mr Todd. “She entered the competition last year and got on well in it, but had to leave before the final. She is a lovely girl and great performer, and it will really make the night special.”

Performing on the night in front of the judges will be various acts, including singers and musicians.

The annual contest, which takes place at Sin Bar, is modelled on the ITV show Britain’s Got Talent.

There is £5,000 in prize money up for grabs, including £2,500 for the winner and £500 for the most improved performer.

There is still time to enter – all you have to do is download and fill in a form and return it to Bushwackers. For more details on entering Worcester’s Got Talent,e-mail toddysin@googlemail.com or call Mr Todd on 07919 363737.
